The Lagos State Police Command said it nabbed a bar owner for operating despite the coronavirus lockdown in the state.
Commander, Rapid Response Squad, Tunji Disu, made this revelation on Saturday via Twitter.
He said the bar owner, whose name was not disclosed, was nabbed around the Isheri-Berger axis of the state on Friday during a routine patrol by the police.
Upon arrest, the owner of the bar claimed he “was only preparing nkwobi” for his customers.
The police said he was arrested alongside his customers but were “allowed to go with a warning”.
“Please stay at home to prevent the spread of the virus,” it appealed to Lagosians.
