The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has planned a maintenance exercise that will temporarily disrupt electricity supply to parts of Lagos on Saturday.

In a notice issued on March 14, the transmission company said the maintenance will be carried out along the Akangba–Ojo 132kV Line II between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

The exercise will allow contractors to carry out the decommissioning and installation of a Capacitive Voltage Transformer (CVT) on the line as part of ongoing rehabilitation works at the Apapa Gas Insulated Substation.
