Three ABSU medical students feared dead in crash after induction. Abia State University, College of Medicine and Health Sciences.
Three medical and surgical students at Abia State University in Uturu are said to have perished in an accident that occurred on the Okigwe axis of the Enugu-Umuahia Expressway.
When the incident happened on Thursday night, City Round found out that the medical students were on their way back to Aba from the school’s induction.The Federal Road Safety Corps’ Abia State Sector Commander, Fredrick Ogiden, confirmed the event and stated that a Toyota Camry with an ash color was involved in the collision. Officers from the corps arrived on the scene not long after the collision.
Unverified reports, however, stated that there were additional injuries from the collision.One video, which is making the rounds on the internet, shows FRSC officers at the scene of the crime, while another shows two injured people and the female victim’s corpse in a hospital.
