The Assistant Manager with the Central Bank of Nigeria , Lafia branch, Nassarawa, Isaac Bature Gbaja, who was reportedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen has been placed on ransom of N10million.

Gunmen who reportedly kidnapped an Assistant Manager with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Lafia branch in Nasarawa, Isaac Bature Gbaja, are demanding N10 million as ransom.

According to information gathered, the victim was kidnapped on Monday, 13 November 2023 with two yet-to-be identified persons.

This criminal act was said to have taken place at around 8pm.

However, it was discovered that he was picked up at his wife’s joint near MACFES Royal Suites, along Kwandere Road, Tudun Gwandara in Lafia, Nasarawa State.

This is the second abduction taking place between a space of 24hours. The first was a councillor in Lafia Local Government Council, Agidi Bulus Ajeh, who was reportedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen regained his freedom.

However, there is no confirmation yet concerning the reported kidnap of the CBN staff by the Nasarawa State Police Command.
