Nigeria’s qualification to the 2026 World Cup is currently in serious jeopardy after they managing to secure two draws in their first two qualifiers against Lesotho and Zimbabwe respectively.

In a statement made by Nse Essien who is a top NFF official, expressed his grief and disappointment about the super eagles poor performances so far.

He stated “If we had the money, we will be willing to relive him, we’re not happy,” said NFF top official Nse Essien.

“Everybody is asking for the sack of the head coach.“It’s unfortunate, that after six points we only have two points.“We’re in a very precarious situation.”

The NFF board member also argued that the football federation did not employ Peseiro and rather it was the sports ministry who did and it is yet to pay his salaries.

However, it is reported that the Super Coach will be sacked after the Afcon 2024.

Also, the future of the head coach of Nigeria is said to be in jeopardy as he appears to be in Egypt with reports circulating that he has agreed to take up the position of the Coach of Zamalek, Egypt.
