The National Television Authority (NTA) has secured the exclusive broadcasting rights for the highly anticipated 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The new deal implies that every moment of the continental football show will be aired on NTA.

Following the new sports development, NTA has also partnered with Afro Sports to ensure the professional delivery and coverage of all games and competitions.

This strategic partnership ensures that NTA will broadcast all 52 electrifying matches of the AFCON tournament.

The announcement comes after Multichoice, the owners of DSTV and Super Sports, couldn’t secure the broadcast rights to air the Afcon 2024.

The Africa Cup of Nations, also known as the TotalEnergies AFCON or simply AFCON or CAN, is widely recognised as Africa’s premier international men’s association football competition.

The competition would begin on Saturday, 13 January 2024, and culminate on Sunday, 11 February 2024, will take place in Cote d’Ivoire.
