At a lounge at Itamaga in the Ikorodu neighborhood of Lagos State, a commercial motorcyclist simply known as Saheed Isa was allegedly stabbed with a knife by an unidentified corporal in the Nigerian Army.

It was learned that the event happened on April 13 at approximately 3:00 PM.It was also discovered that a misunderstanding led to the soldier stabbing Isa.

According to a police source in the division who asked to remain anonymous because he was not authorized to comment on the subject, the soldier, who is a member of the 159 Battalion in Yobe State, is accused of stabbing the victim in the upper left side of the stomach with a jack knife that resembles a gun.

The Chief Security Officer of a lounge in Itamaga, Ikorodu, Lagos, reported to the Ikorodu Division on April 13, 2024, at approximately 0300 hours, that at approximately 0200 hours on the same day, one CPL (name withheld), a serving member of the Nigerian Army attached to 159 Battalion, Yobe State, stabbed one Saheed Isa, a commercial motorcycle rider, on the upper left side of his stomach after a disagreement at the bar.

The victim was gravely hurt, the source continued, adding that the victim is presently receiving medical attention at the hospital while detectives from the division investigate the crime scene.

As a result, severe harm was caused. Following their visit to the crime scene, division detectives took the victim to the hospital, where he was admitted and is currently responding to treatment, according to the source.
